You know what's really one of the hardest things about being a teenage-student-fashion-blogger? The money. Or better: The money you don't own.
And you know what's really one of the hardest things about living in Switzerland? The prices. And the stores.
Now take a look at all the famous, really well-known Bloggers there are outside. Chiara Ferragni (The Blonde Salad), Shea-Marie (Peace Love Shea), Aimee Song (Song of Style) and so on. What do they have in common? They all wear expensive clothes. Or at least clothes that are too expensive for a college student like me. And imagine that I live in Zurich. Switzerland! The famous island of high prices!
So don't get me wrong - I absolutely adore these famous bloggers. All I'm saying is that it is tremendously hard to be a fashion blogger if you don't have that much money. In fact, the problem is pretty basic:
If you - for a change - have some money, you have to spend it on clothes you can wear on a everyday basis. You have to buy pieces you could wear to school, to work, to go grocery shopping or whatever you have to do in your everyday life. At least, that's how it is for me - the large majority of the pieces in my closet have to be "allrounder".
Now you can consider yourself a really lucky person if you happen to live in a city where people don't look strangely at you when you are wearing like bright pink trousers with a white crop-top and a statement necklace. But you know, where I live, people will stare suprised at you when you are wearing something other than skinny jeans.
That's the reason I have to spend the money I own on clothes I can wear on a daily basis. That's the sad truth. And the reason my blog-name is no money for high fashion.
Anyways, I just wanted to show you what I wore yesterday. It's a pretty simple, totally-Zara outfit and it's quite casual. Black with a little bit of gold.
